NATALIE WALKER
Natalie began her yoga journey with an unexpectedly advanced Kundalini breathwork class taught completely in Spanish while on exchange in Ecuador and promptly decided yoga was not her cup of tea.
However, destiny had other plans!
A few years later, a weekly gentle yoga class illuminated for her the inextricable connection between the body and the psyche. After the awareness had dawned on her that yoga was so much more than a fitness routine, there was no turning back. It was then that she embarked upon her spiritual path in earnest, in search of answers to the same mysterious and existential questions that humans have whispered into the dark sky for ages.
A graduate of the inaugural class of the Esther Vexler Yoga School’s 200 hour YTT, and a current student of Mel Marie’s 300 hour YTT, Natalie loves to guide students to drop in to their bodies, activate their sensory awareness, and embody the fullest expression of their truest selves both on and off the mat. She has also studied the somatic healing available to us through the study of classical Tantra, meditation, and breathwork, and loves to incorporate this knowledge base when teaching.
When Natalie isn’t practicing yoga, you can find her spending time with her two sweet daughters, making art, dancing in her living room, or returning overdue books from the library that she never read.
