ERIKA MULLINS

When the world started to open up again after the 2020 COVID 19 pandemic, I took a yoga class on a whim. As I collapsed on my mat, drenched in sweat, wondering if my soul was actually leaving my body, thinking that this was for sure the end, I knew I was hooked. I went back the next day, and then the next, then every day for a month and so forth. As my physical practice grew, I began to notice that my practice was beginning to creep into other areas of my life, both physically and mentally. At the end of 2022, I took the leap and took teacher training at the 200 hour level with no expectations of what might happen next. Upon receiving my 200 hour teaching certificate, I took the leap into teaching and never looked back.  Yoga brings me a lot of joy and I aim to help students cultivate joy within their own practice. I love nothing more than a fun and funky sequence set to a bumpin playlist. I enjoy holding inclusive space for students to play, explore, and have fun, no matter where they are in their practice or their life.

If I'm not teaching, you might find me studenting, practice is a big part of my life. When I'm not in the studio, I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and dogs. I like catching live music, taking road trips, making art, or watching Spurs basketball.
